Why We Sanction

Oregon Youth Soccer sanctions local tournaments to provide a standard process where coaches, parents and players can easily know that the tournaments they are considering adhere to specific guidelines including referee standards, tournament rules, field standards, game time, referees and spectator regulations.

OYSA is also able to then publish the list of sanctioned tournaments to provide a directory of approved competitions for the membership to find opportunities in their area.
