Who We Are
The Oregon Youth Soccer Foundation was formed as the fundraising arm of Oregon Youth Soccer in 1996 with the goal of providing member clubs with a source of funding for:
- Programs promoting equity and inclusion for all Oregon’s youth and continually strives to create opportunities for communities to grow and strengthen together through the game of soccer.
- Field development
- Scholarship opportunities
- Coaching education
- Referee education
Plans to re-launch the Foundation to better serve and meet the needs of our Oregon soccer families and communities will be implemented in the near future.
The Oregon Youth Soccer Foundation is a 501 c(3) organization.
OYSF Player Scholarship
Oregon Youth Soccer Foundation has received funds from gracious donors & Oregon Youth Soccer Association to support a volunteer club player’s scholarship. This scholarship is for low-income status applications. If your club is a predominantly volunteer base club that possibly has families who face the financial burdens of registration fees to play soccer. Oregon Youth Soccer Foundation has placed the needs of our players and their soccer communities at the forefront of our work. The Foundation’s Scholarship fund will provide much-needed financial support to economically challenged and underserved athletes. This newly established scholarship fund hopes to ease the club, family, and player burden so that our athletes can enjoy playing without the added weight of economic stress.
Applications are open for Fall 2024 and will close on August 18th at 5:00 PM.
